Read Kendrick Lamar's Controversial Lyrics On Big Sean's 'Control' John Kennedy Posted August 13, 2013

We'd like to take a moment of silence for the rappers who were slain via Kendrick Lamar's verse on Big Sean's "Control." What started as a Hall Of Fame leftover—sample clearance issue—became an instantly legendary piece of modern rap history thanks to a never-ending K Dot verse sandwiched between Sean and Jay Electronica. cartier What happened in those 73795 some-odd bars turnt the hip-hop world upside down and shook the shit out of it. Italy's Tamburi seeks investments to follow Moncler Reuters  –  Wed, Aug 14, 2013 4:32 PM EDT RELATED QUOTES Symbol Price Change TIP.MI 1.82 0.00 AMP.MI 3.97 -0.07 PRY.MI 17.30 -0.01

moncler MILAN (Reuters) - Italy's Tamburi Investment Partners (TIP) (MIL:TIP) is looking for further purchases after leading a consortium to buy into luxury ski wear maker Moncler, chief executive Giovanni Tamburi said on Wednesday.

buy moncler TIP, which Tamburi said has investments worth about 1 billion euros ($1.3 billion), acquired an indirect stake in Moncler this month when its majority-owned vehicle Clubsette bought 14 percent of Moncler President Remo Ruffini's holding company.

buy moncler The independent investment bank, which also holds stakes in hearing aid maker Amplifon (MIL:AMP) and cable maker Prysmian (MIL:PRY), is mulling deals in the technology, fashion and retail sectors in Europe, at a pace of between one and three a year.

moncler outlet store locations "We have absolutely not finished," Tamburi told Reuters. "We still have liquidity, we still have investors who want to join us, so we're still looking at potential deals - and there are lots of opportunities in Europe."

moncler kieds TIP booked a capital gain worth about 33 million euros in July from the sale of its stake in holding companies for French department store chain Printemps, but the cash will not make it any less choosy about its investments, Tamburi said.

cheap moncler jackets "We won't let having lots of money make us rush to invest."

The 103 million euro investment in holding company Ruffini Partecipazioni, which owns 32 percent of Moncler, is primarily a bet on the ski wear brand, Tamburi said.

"Ruffini Partecipazioni effectively means 32 percent of Moncler," Tamburi said, adding that its other investments, in secondary brands in the Moncler group such as Henry Cotton's and Marina Yachting, are valued far below the flagship label.

The goosedown jacket label is set to list - without the secondary brands - on the Milan bourse in the last quarter of this year. Sources have told Reuters that Ruffini plans to keep his 32 percent stake.

Sources close to the matter have said the IPO values Moncler at about 2 billion euros, but Tamburi declined to put a value on his stake.

Tamburi said the decision to invest in Ruffini was taken regardless of whether Moncler would list or not.

"Our participation in Ruffini Partecipazioni completely disregards the possible effects of a listing - whether it takes place sooner or later."

iwc imitation FOLLOW Mr. Tito on Twitter: @titowrestling It's the FINAL COUNTDOWN, a column brand offered by Mr. Tito, but for this special edition, fellow LordsofPain.net columnist Super Chrisss, author of the "My Two Centsss" columns, joins the column to discuss the Top 10 WWE In-Ring Workers. This list will speak specifically about in-ring work rate. Even if a wrestler lacks speaking abilities, is a weak character, or struggles in the Main Event scene, it won't matter because we are looking specifically at how a wrestler performs in the ring. The ones who regularly have great matches or have the abilities to make their opponents look great will apply. To compile this list, Mr. Tito and Chrisss submitted Top 10 lists. Then, from the population of wrestlers from both lists, the followers of Mr. Tito (@titowrestling) and Chrisss (@ChrisssLoP) on Twitter were then asked via poll who the best WWE in-ring workers were. The combined scores of Mr. Tito, Chrisss, and the Twitter readers created the methodology for this list below. Per each wrestler who made the top 10, both Chrisss and Mr. Tito will add their commentary for your enjoyment. The reader contribution to this list actually served as tiebreakers and actually determined the #1 spot on this list. Your feedback below is encouraged, as are any directl comments to Mr. Tito (@titowrestling) and Chrisss (@ChrisssLoP) on Twitter. And as always, no "FINAL COUNTDOWN" column is complete without listening to this fine cover of Final Countdown in the background. TOP 10 WWE IN-RING WORKERS #10 - RANDY ORTON CHRISSS: For whatever reason, people never seem to truly appreciate The Viper's skills as a wrestler. While just like other main-eventers such as John Cena and CM Punk, Orton can wrestle a bad, ugly match once in a while, but more often than not, Orton delivers a solid in-ring performance. His resume for 2013 may seem a bit bare, but that's because he was too busy competing in non-feuds and going over Wade Barrett or Antonio Cesaro every other week. But whether the IWC wants to admit it or not, Orton is one of the better wrestlers on the entire roster, who has great chemistry with a lot of different opponents, from smaller guys like Daniel Bryan to behemoths like Mark Henry. You can call him Randy [B]or[e]ton when he cuts a promo, but certainly not when he's wrestling. MR. TITO: This guy's talent and experience should land him at a higher spot on this list. However, his own personal traits and who he was taught by have limited his true potential as a WWE superstar. If you watch Orton's matches, his moves are crisp, he rarely makes errors, and his athleticism is only matched by a few wrestlers. Orton, however, seems to enjoy being too much of a giver than a receiver. He's too controlling in his matches and never allows his character to show any weakness. He lacks the psychology to effectively sell his opponents moves and he must hit these certain spots in every single match that he has. He's too selfish of a wrestler and I really worry about Daniel Bryan's prospects against him especially now that Orton is WWE Champion again. #9 - TRIPLE H MR. TITO: As an in-ring worker, few have the ability and the experience to put on a superb match like Triple H. That's why I included him on my list (#8 for me) and that's why the fan vote helped keep him on the list. Most will question his matches against Brock Lesnar. Sometimes, the chemistry just isn't there with certain wrestlers. I would point to Triple H's Wrestlemania 27 and 28 battles with the Undertaker to prove how good of a worker Triple H can still be. Some don't like those matches, like Bret Hart, but if you hear the fans in the crowd going bonkers, they know that Triple H and Undertaker were both bringing it on those nights. Triple H, in my opinion, should actually be higher on this list... But he tends to be a DICK towards wrestlers he thinks less of, such as CM Punk during 2011. Triple H continues to forget what made him great during 2000: he sold opponent's moves and made fans believe his opponents had a chance to win. CHRISSS: I have to ask - are the readers voting based on all-time criteria or current? Because if they voted Triple H as the ninth best WWE in-ring competitor in 2013, then that's laughable. You know what's the last great match Triple H had? It was a year and a half ago at Wrestlemania 28, when he faced The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell. Since then, what great matches has Triple H wrestled? Against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam? Decent match at best. Versus Lesnar at Wrestlemania 29? Yeah, right. Another match with Lesnar at Extreme Rules? God, no. HHH's mini-feud and 'matches' with Curtis Axel were simply forgettable. Truth be told, if we're discussing current in-ring all-stars, Triple H has no business being on this list. #8 - CHRISTIAN CHRISSS: I remember doing a tournament-style column a year or two ago where I allowed my readers to vote for who they felt was the best wrestler in the current WWE. The final round came down to CM Punk vs. Christian, with Punk barely edging out the win. What has happened to Christian's stock since then? He's still a great wrestler (especially at his age and after all those injuries) and one of the most reliable workers on the roster. In the past week and a half, he's put on two fantastic matches with Alberto del Rio, and added another epic match with Randy Orton to their series of classics. Keep in mind Christian is the same man who once carried Ezekiel Jackson to a decent match at the 2010 Royal Rumble. If that effort alone isn't worthy of shooting Christian up the list, then I don't know what is. MR. TITO: *Facepalm* I just don't get the Christian love by the IWC. Sure, he can wrestle a good match... But he's been in this business forever now. My issue with him as a worker is that he hasn't done anything as a veteran to change up his style or enhance him as a worker. It's like he peaked after he turned on Edge and just never changed as a worker since. Other wrestlers get better with age so that by their mid to late 30's, they have some of the best matches of their careers and are great world champions. I don't see that with Christian. I see the same spots, the same moves, and the same in-ring storytelling. He can put on good matches, but he hasn't evolved much as a wrestler. In fact, he's looking older as a wrestler at a time when the roster is getting younger and faster. I question what the IWC is watching, but maybe they love reliving those Attitude Era years with Christian? #7 - JOHN CENA MR. TITO: Thank you, fan input, for pulling John Cena down on this list... I had him at #3 on my list and for good reason. Most will call him the modern day Hulk Hogan... But if you give John Cena GOOD opponents, he'll turn them into stars. Go ask CM Punk from 2011 and now Daniel Bryan from 2013. John Cena not only sold like a champ for both wrestlers, but put them over clean to make them stars. Sure, he's a subscriber of the "Sports Entertainment", but he has to be. The McMahons want him on top and book him as such. When Cena has to put on a great match and is called upon to do so, he brings it. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and Brock Lesnar can each point to their best career matches being against John Cena and that says a lot to me about John Cena, the in-ring worker. Go watch Money in the Bank 2011 (or any match against Punk), Extreme Rules 2012, and SummerSlam 2013 and tell me how Cena is not a good worker. Then, I'll call you crazy and a hater. CHRISSS: Whoa, whoa, whoa! I know the IWC hates John Cena with a passion, but this countdown is based on a wrestler's in-ring skills, NOT their character. And Cena is one of the better wrestlers on the roster. Hell, his matches with Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, and Daniel Bryan are all in the running for best match of 2013. Sure, his matches with The Rock and Ryback were a pain to get through, but for years, Cena has been wrestling one high-quality match after another. Those morons who tell him he can't wrestle don't know a shit about wrestling. Cena deserves to be WAY higher than number seven - he's without question a top five wrestler. #6 - BROCK LESNAR CHRISSS: When I originally sent Tito my top ten picks in order to help create this column, I listed Lesnar at number five without thinking twice. But the more I think about it, the more I think I seeded him a bit too high. If we're talking about both of Lesnar's WWE runs, then this is an acceptable position, as he had classic matches with The Rock and Kurt Angle a decade ago, and recently put on MOTY candidates with John Cena and CM Punk. But if we're only counting his Extreme Rules 2012 match until now, then this ranking makes no sense. Lesnar has a 3-2 record and three of those matches STUNK! Which ones am I talking about? All three with Triple H, of course. None of them lived up to the hype, and none of them will be MOTY considerations. So in many ways, I feel Lesnar out-ranked some people he shouldn't have. Mr. TITO: #6 is about right... This is a guy who returns to the WWE after years of Mixed Martial Arts fighting and puts on great matches as a part time wrestler. He could be higher if his offense wasn't just beating the living daylights out of his opponents. His matches against John Cena and CM Punk were incredible, but I give that more towards his opponents absorbing his violent offense than anything. Brock Lesnar struggled against Triple H, but that was just bad chemistry and Triple H trying to act as a former UFC Champion's equal. For wrestling just part-time, Brock Lesnar's portfolio of suplexes are always hit perfectly and the psychology of being the most dangerous human being to ever enter a WWE ring is always there put you on the edge of your seat. I would love to see Lesnar go after other wrestlers on this list that he hasn't wrestled yet. #5 - ANTONIO CESARO MR. TITO Our readers love the guy and helped push him up the list... I would go lower just on the basis that Cesaro is still unproven in a WWE ring as a worker. I was amazed recently by his match against Daniel Bryan, but who hasn't looked incredible against Bryan? Cesaro, unfortunately, is a victim of BAD WWE booking that has turned him into an enhancement guy for other top level wrestlers. I don't understand what the WWE is doing with the guy, but then I look at his resume and see the words "RING OF HONOR", which holds true for other WWE guys that get screwed on pushes. From what I've seen, the guy has the talent to do well on a big stage... It's WWE's utter refusal to take him serious, at this point, which would hold me back from being higher on my list. How much can you punish a guy by making him lose many non-title matches as US Champion and them have him join "We the People" with Jack Swagger? CHRISSS: I might get smoke bombs FedExed to my house when I say this, but...I think Cesaro is ranked too high. Now, there's no denying Cesaro's talent in the ring and inhumanly strength. I've seen the man do things in the squared circle that I've never seen anyone else do in history . But I can't help but feel he's missing a certain trait that is preventing him from wrestling a classic anytime he wrestles. I know, I know - I've seen his matches with Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, etc. When Cesaro is on, he's on. The thing is, there are times when it seems to me that Cesaro isn't going out there to steal the show; rather, he's found a level where he can wow the audience with a few cool maneuvers and be content with that. Obviously, there are exceptions, but I don't think Cesaro is constantly showing us exactly what he's capable of. Then again, considering how his post-U.S. title reign push fizzled out, and his teaming with Job Swagger, you can't really blame the man for not feeling motivated. One year from now, Cesaro should find himself back on this countdown around the same position. At the moment, however, I don't think Cesaro is quite there...yet. #4 - DOLPH ZIGGLER CHRISSS: Now this is a ranking I agree with. Dolph Ziggler has earned the right to call himself the Show-Off because that's what he does - he steals the show by putting on a breath-taking performance in the ring and leaves you with little desire to see whatever follows his match. Combined with a great aerial and technical ability, Ziggler is one of the best sellers/bumpers on the roster, hands down. That handy skill allows him any of his opponents to look better than they have any right to be. In fact, it was his matches with The Great Khali a number of years ago that put Ziggler on the fast track to superstardom and helped him break out from the undercard. This year alone, Ziggler has already wrestled great matches with John Cena and Alberto del Rio, and even helped Big E look credible. Ziggler can do no wrong in the ring, and the scary thing is - his career is just getting started. MR. TITO: I disagree with #4, especially given the others on this list whom he's ahead of. With Ziggler, I see an incredible athlete who can put on an incredible display of finesse in front of a live crowd. But what makes a great worker isn't just being an athlete but adding psychology to a match. Ziggler is an impressive bumper and adds a lot of energy to a match, but he just hits move after move after move without any purpose. I guess eventually, his opponent would just worn out from taking excessive offense from Ziggler that they just drop? The psychology is broken because even in the later parts of the match, Ziggler's motor is still running at high speed. It's as if any of the moves attempted by his opponent didn't matter. His inability to sell the effects of a wrestling match limits him from being a stronger worker. Ziggler is the newer version of John Morrison who did the same exact thing... Wrestled as fast as he could, attempting to fit as many spots into a match as he could, yet he couldn't understand why fans weren't fully emotionally connected. #3 - ALBERTO DEL RIO MR. TITO: I love this guy's in-ring abilities. This guy brings it for big matches and has offense that I believe would legitimately hurt someone. Highly impressed with his work against Christian at SummerSlam 2013, by example. Those kicks and the arm bar submission are stuff I would not like to take. WWE's booking, however, is absolutely killing this guy. Had the WWE just kept him on the Smackdown roster for 2011 and kept his World Heavyweight Title chase going, he would be over huge. Instead, they moved him to the RAW roster, had him steal CM Punk's WWE title at SummerSlam 2011, and then kept switching in brief periods of time from heel to face combined with unhyped World Heaveyweight Title wins. Just a disaster in terms of booking. Had the WWE been patient, this guy would be a mega star by now. Instead, he's seen as a joke who should stay on the Smackdown brand forever. CHRISSS: I can deal with Del Rio being in the top five, but number three is far too high for my liking. While his character may be the cure for insomnia, there is no doubt he brings it in the ring. In fact, you'd be hard-pressed to find a bad or boring match involving the world heavyweight champion. HOWEVER, that lack of personality carries over to his matches, and so the fan is almost forced to enjoy his matches based solely on the in-ring work at display or invest into Del Rio's opponent, whoever that may be. A good, recent example of that is SummerSlam - not many people I talked to were the least bit excited for Christian vs. ADR. We knew we'd get a decent match, but Christian was not over enough to be in that position. Well, we were proven wrong thanks to both men bringing their A-game that night and putting on a technical classic, with the crowd solidly behind Captain Charisma, turning him into one of the biggest faces that night. Del Rio may be an amazing athlete and gifted between the ropes, but until he makes that crucial connection with the crowd, he just can't be viewed as one of the best overall wrestlers in the WWE. #2 - CM PUNK CHRISSS: Just barely missing the number one spot is my pick for the best overall wrestler on the WWE roster today, CM Punk. Honestly, it's hard to argue anyone on this list (including the man who claims the top spot) being a better 'total package' than the Straightedge Superstar. Look at his resume for 2013 alone - he has competed in arguably the best three matches of the year (vs. John Cena on Raw in February; vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 29; vs. Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam). While he has had his share of 'duds' - most notably both matches with The Rock, which were HUGE letdowns - Punk possesses a trait no one else has. He is able to get any fan - mark or smark - to invest into his matches as if it was the most personal, biggest match of the evening. THAT is what separates Punk from everybody else. Don't believe me? Go watch Punk vs. 'Taker or Punk vs. Lesnar one more time. MR. TITO: We're splitting hairs at this point between Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, who were tied at #1 until the fans voted for Bryan. CM Punk is #2, potentially #1, because in terms of the Main Event scene, he has brought it like no other wrestler. He has 3 of the top 5 "Match of the Year" contenders for 2013 in his match with John Cena on RAW, Undertaker at Wrestlemania 29, and possibly the best SummerSlam match of all time with his match against Brock Lesnar. That is a very convincing resume for the #1 spot... But I have actual issues with his work against the Rock. Both matches were actual letdowns and based on what I've seen Daniel Bryan carry, I'm convinced that Bryan could get a good match out of the Rock. Now, if I were to award "WRESTLER OF THE YEAR", it's definitely going to be CM Punk because of his all around ability, character, and delivery in big matches. But this is in-ring worker and my winner goes to... #1 - DANIEL BRYAN MR. TITO: In terms of pure in-ring ability, Daniel Bryan is the best that the WWE currently has to offer. Aside from his absurdly great match against John Cena at SummerSlam, consider this... After the WWE ripped the World Heavyweight Title from his hands at Wrestlemania 28, they asked him to essentially carry the midcard on his back. They teamed him up with Kane to form TEAM HELL NO and assigned him with making the tag team division somewhat relevant. He did and actually revived Kane's career in the process. Night after night on Monday Night RAW, Daniel Bryan carried that midcard. Then, the WWE debuts 3 developmental wrestlers named "The Shield" and Bryan is asked to make them look great. On multiple Pay Per Views no less, Bryan sold like a champ for them and made Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns look great and even laid down for them. They were relevant with Bryan, not so much without him. No matter what the shitty WWE booking has been thrown at him, Bryan has overcome it. Why? Because of his in-ring ability and how it offsets any poor attempts by WWE management to hold him down. This guy is the best in-ring performer and gets over because he excites fans from his in-ring work. They wouldn't shout "YES! YES! YES!" if he was terrible in the ring. Neither would Brie Bella. CHRISSS: Well, I can't say I'm shocked to see Bryan take the number one spot. After all, he is arguably the hottest thing going in wrestling among both the Internet Wrestling Community as well as the general, 'less informed' audience. But truth be told, I don't think Bryan is THE best in-ring wrestler in WWE today - rather, that accolade goes to CM Punk. Neither Punk nor Bryan have ever had a bad match that I can remember, but Punk has had more classic matches than Bryan (so far, anyway). Bryan may be more technically skilled, but I'm able to invest myself much more into a Punk match than anyone else on the entire roster. That being said, Bryan is a great choice for number one, even if I don't 100% agree. NOTEABLE EXCEPTIONS: CHRISSS: - Chris Jericho : The man of 1,001 hiatuses may be out of the picture yet again, but there's no denying the man's contributions to the wrestling world over the years. While 2013 may not have been a career year for Y2J, even at his advanced age, Jericho is one of the better in-ring performers WWE has ever employed. He might not be the best in the world like he claims, but he is certainly one of the better wrestlers to ever grace a WWE ring. - Cody Rhodes : I originally listed Cody as number seven, and I was SHOCKED when he didn't make the top ten. Cody may not be as consistent of a performer as a Dolph Ziggler or a Christian, but his matches over the years with Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and more recently, Damien Sandow at SummerSlam, is an indication to me that Cody certainly has 'it' in the ring. Obviously, he's still very young and has so much time to get even better at what he does, but that still doesn't justify Cody's exclusion from this final countdown. MR. TITO I would probably swap out Christian for Cody Rhodes. The guy might be void of personality or charisma, but he's quite athletic in the ring. As crazy as I might sound, I could argue putting the Undertaker on this list. His Wrestlemania workrate is amazing and has been in my top 5 "Match of the Year" candidate lists with those matches for the past 5 years. Might be once a year, but he never fails to impress. I suppose maybe Chris Jericho could take Christian's spot on this list, but I see him more of a sports entertainer than I do as a stronger worker. I would wonder how he'd wrestle if you took the ropes off the ring. I probably like Sheamus's in ring work than the next. The guy has been rushed to the main event and overpushed by the WWE Creative Team to notice. I like what I've seen so far from Dean Ambrose, although his US Title reign hasn't been all that interesting. He seems to have "it", but needs to show "it" more in a WWE ring. Rynette Reiling and her daughter, Chanel Reiling, have opened Studio Chanel and Co. in Tonganoxie. Their business had operated for three years on Union Street in McLouth, but the Reilings, who live in Oskaloosa, needed more space for their expanding business. They can be found just west of Kansas Country Store along U.S. Highway 24-40.

chanel Rynette Reiling and her daughter, Chanel Reiling, had a grand plan to open a dance studio after Chanel finished college.

chanel handbags replica top quality The plan underwent some tweaking a few years ago. And now, they have a studio in Tonganoxie.

chanel handbags outlet online The mother and daughter from Oskaloosa opened Studio Chanel and Co. last month at 1203 E. U.S. Highway 24-40 after three years in downtown McLouth.

chanel bags outlet stores Chanel, who will be a senior at Washburn University when classes start later this month, attended classes and worked at Union Street Dance Station in McLouth. About three years ago, owner Kim Robbins decided to close and approached Chanel about taking over the business.

discount chanel handbags “We prayed about it and number crunched and we decided to do it,” Rynette said.

chanel handbags 2013 The leap seems to have paid off.

Enrollment has tripled since the Reilings started Studio Chanel, Rynette said. Roughly 200 young people ranging in age from 3-18 take classes at the studio, They also average about 25 adults for each Zumba class.

Rynette and Chanel decided their business was outgrowing the 2,000-square-foot building in downtown McLouth. Their new location covers 10,000 square feet.

“It’s not only bigger space but it has higher ceilings for cheers,” Rynette said.

Studio Chanel, which is just west of Kansas Country Store, offers classes in competitive cheer, competitive dance, tap, ballet, jazz and hip-hop, as well as Zumba. Chanel said the studio plans to start offering yoga next month.

Though the Reilings originally planned to open the studio after Chanel finished college, it hasn’t hindered her from continuing her education.

Chanel is a radiology major. Her sophomore year she was on the Washburn dance team and is a member of the Alpha Phi sorority. She also is doing clinicals in Lawrence while finishing up her degree and overseeing classes at the studio.

“I’m in my car a lot,” Chanel said with a laugh.

She said the purpose of the studio is to offer youth and adults the opportunity to be active in cheer and various dance and exercise classes without having to travel outside the area. Chanel, who participated in cheerleading and dance at Oskaloosa High and was cheer captain, said her mother told her “she had to have a real job to have a fun job.”

“This is my fun job,” she said about the dance studio. “I was on the verge of being a teacher, something with kids. This is my kid outlet because I love kids.”

Rynette, also an OHS graduate, was a cheerleader at Oskaloosa before joining the squads at Allen County Community College and then Emporia State University.

She said the studio serves students throughout Leavenworth and Jefferson counties and also stretches as far south as Baldwin City and east to Piper and Olathe.

Chanel handles operations with the classes, while Rynette specializes in marketing and public relations.

"Chanel and I are a good team together," Rynette said.

She said the studio hopes to offer additional classes in the fall.

Classes are offered Saturdays through Thursdays.

Point of View What’s been your favorite vacation destination? “ As an adult my favorite vacation would have to be the Rockies. Colorado has always had a close place in my heart. But as a child I always went to the northern states and I’d have to say that they had the best family oriented activities, such as the Great Lakes and many a fun time on the Mississippi. If it involved water, we were there.”

tiffany Cornell Poyser, 40, allegedly stole van-loads of merchandise from a Long Island T.J. Maxx store where he worked and re-sold them in a small store he rented in East Flatbush.

tiffany Brooklyn prosecutors showcased stacks of evidence Wednesday against a sticky-fingered assistant manager at a T.J. Maxx accused of selling high-end wares he stole from the outlet at rock-bottom prices.

Aaron Showalter/New York Daily News The Brooklyn District Attorney's office announced charges Wednesday against Cornell Poyser. A large table held some of the merchandise found at the Poyser's shop, Stefani Boutique.

Rude Awakening: Tiffany's Robbed Last Night Aug 15, 2013 9:00 AM Angela Tafoya ,
tiffany San Francisco Editor Photo: Via Tiffany & Co. UPDATE: More info has rolled in and according to SF Gate , police have noted that only the less-expensive items were stolen, leaving virtually all of the pricey goodies behind.

wholesale tiffany jewelry There definitely has been a rapid surge of high-end robberies swarming the Bay as of late, from the Rainbow Girls’ dramatic swoop at Burberry and other Union Square shops , and now an ultra-dramatic break-in at everyone's fave blue-boxed icon, Tiffany’s . In fact, the most recent burglary sounds like something ripped from the script of a heist movie, with Walnut Creek Tiffany’s employees waking up to one helluva rude awakening this morning.
tiffany silver
tiffany jewelry According to KRON 4 , the luxe jewelry store was completely ransacked last night (seriously, most of the merch is gone!) when a white pickup truck backed into the store around 6 a.m., bashing in the entrance, and three crooks cleared the place out. The suspects exited the store and hopped in a getaway car and took off, leaving the pickup truck behind. Yikes! Obviously, the hunt is on to capture the three, jewelry-swiping bandits. Weststar Obtains Extension on LOI to Acquire up to 80% Interest in Cartier Resources' Diego Property, Chibougamau, Quebec Press Release : Weststar Resources Corp.  –  Thu, Aug 22, 2013 8:00 AM EDT Related Content RELATED QUOTES Symbol Price Change WER.V 0.03 +0.0050 VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug 22, 2013) - Weststar Resources Corp. ("Weststar", the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WER) announced today that, further to its May 23, 2013 news release, the Company has been granted an extension on the arm's length Letter of Intent dated May 22, 2013 (the "LOI") with Cartier Resources Inc. ("Cartier") (TSX VENTURE:ECR), a Quebec corporation listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"), whereby the Company will be entering into an exclusive option agreement with Cartier to acquire up to 80% undivided interest in and to fifty-three mining claims located in the Lescure, Druillettes, Drouet and Gradis Townships of Quebec, Canada (the "Property"). The extension is in relation to a condition precedent to the LOI, in which Weststar must complete a non-brokered private placement financing, which has been extended 90 days to November 21, 2013.

The past producing Joe Mann mine (4,289,221 t @ 7.56 g/t Au and 0.23% Cu) is situated 40 kilometres to the east, and the recently re-opened Bachelor Lake Mine is situated approximately 80 kilometres to the west.

cartier watches for sale The Property covers targets # 142, 149 and 159 of the Lamothe and Harris (EP2006-01) Gold Favorability study. This study located zones of high favourability for orogenic gold mineralization in the Abitibi.

Previous drilling (102 holes) revealed a broad gold-bearing porphyritic dyke swarm over 200 metres in width. Drill hole GD-04 intercepted 91 ppb gold over 213.0 metres. Hole GD-38 also interecepted a 161.5 metre thick zone assaying 0.12 g/t gold. The dyke swarm was traced over a strike length of more than 10 kilometres.

Cartier's grab samples yielded anomalous gold values of 5.02 g/t Au, 4.83 g/t Au and 4.08 g/t Au, in addition to grades of 2.01 g/t Au, 1.55 g/t Au and 1.16 g/t Au. A historical grab sample, the Riverside Showing was discovered in 1985 and assayed 10.4 g/t gold.

The gold-bearing structures, confirmed by previous drilling featured gold mineralization over widths of up to 160 metres. Numerous altered and mineralized (gold-rich) felsic intrusives at major geological contacts within the deformation zone were also mapped. Cartier has integrated over 4,911 assay results for gold into a digital database, produced set of sections, level plans and longitudinal sections that show the numerous drill targets on the Property. Cartier has located historical diamond drill hole casings and highly altered mineralized felsic intrusive. Results from this sampling include grab and channel samples assaying up to 4.8 g/t Au.

moncler jackets for men I HADN'T FOUND my perfect flat sandals for summer when I started to think about winter coats. It was late July. To some, I might sound like a crazed, Type-A shopper getting way ahead of herself, but the fact is, even two weeks ago there were far more capes and crombies than gladiators and thongs available for purchase. On a 90-plus-degree day, I was able to flip open my laptop and add to my Net-a-Porter wish list a smartly tailored car coat, a well-priced navy shearling and two dreamy pea coats. (Apparently I wasn't quite Type-A enough; both pea coats were already sold out in a few sizes.)

moncler womens jackets In the world of high-end retail, July, August and early September are—as counterintuitive as it might seem—the ideal time to buy a coat. "If customers come in now, they get to see a full range of sizes," said Barbara Atkin, the fashion director of Canadian department store Holt Renfrew. "You know it's going to get cold. This way you have a better selection." Ms. Atkin brings up one of the most important points about shopping early: If you wait until the mercury drops enough to call for a woolly topper, the rack may be picked over. (To avoid having to mark down big-ticket items, stores have learned to limit their inventory.)

buy moncler "In December or January, if you're hoping to buy things on sale, there are no more coats," said fashion consultant Roopal Patel. "It is very weird." Ms. Patel, who has her eye on a camel coat from Stella McCartney and a Givenchy biker jacket, has started getting organized. "Yesterday, I placed a call to my personal shopper," she said.

moncler kieds “ 'In December or January, there are no more coats. It is very weird.' ”

moncler jackets for men Ms. Patel and I are not alone. Coats are selling everywhere. Linda Dresner reported that her namesake boutique in Birmingham, Mich., has already sold several from Céline, the Row and Belstaff. Céline coats are also big sellers at Barneys, where senior vice president of ready-to-wear Jennifer Sunwoo said that wintry pieces from Belstaff, Moncler and Marni are also selling well. And online retailer MyTheresa—which currently has one of the best and broadest online selections of coats—last week sold two $10,000 minks and a $77,000 sable, according to buying director Justin O'Shea.

Beyond the urgency of snagging your dream coat before someone else snatches it up, buying a coat as your first fall piece is also the most efficient way to establish your look for the season. "The coat sets your personality," said Ms. Patel. "It's what people notice first in the cold weather."

This season offered a broad and stylish cast of characters, from Hermès's modern bourgeois madame (a chestnut cashmere coat with calfskin and lambskin stripes) to Prada's noirish femme fatale (charcoal wool with glossy sequins). If you're not looking for drama, invest in an updated blue-chip classic, like Ralph Lauren's flared-hem pea coat or Max Mara's teddy-bear-ish camel coat.

Those who don't like thinking ahead, take heart. The next big thing bubbling up in the fashion industry is "buy-now-wear-now"—which means delivering clothes when shoppers actually need them. Ex-Jimmy Choo CEO Tamara Mellon recently launched a mid-priced label under her own name that aims to do just that by forgoing the six-month-prior fashion show and sending monthly shipments of season-appropriate merchandise to her own stores and website.

Until this new model becomes the norm, you'll need to get on the ball. As for me, those wish list items haven't entered the shopping cart yet. But it won't be long.

best swiss replica watches With the September 14 fight just three weeks away now, the hype is really hitting its stride. This is no doubt the biggest fight we've seen in many years, and it's a key moment for the Showtime boxing brand, as well. If they fall short of projections on this fight, that could indicate that even though pay-per-view is pay-per-view, and all the same people can still buy it, there may be something that the HBO brand name carries in the boxing world that Showtime just doesn't yet.

fake watches But that seems unlikely. There's an enormous buzz around Mayweather-Canelo, and I thought this first episode of All Access was excellent, with Barry Pepper doing a great job as the narrator, nice pacing throughout the show, and though the plotlines and all that were of course guided, it felt like they let the fighters tell their own stories to a large degree, which is important. Floyd was Floyd, but we got to see more of Canelo than we've had a chance to in the past. He's a dorky (in a good way), loose, laid back kid, and there's no trepidation in the way he's carrying himself.

BANGOR TOWNSHIP, MI — More changes are in store for the Bay City Mall with an about 4,000-square-foot expansion planned for The Shoe Dept.

With the expansion, the nearly 6,700-square-foot Shoe Dept. is becoming the Shoe Dept. Encore. Construction is expected to be complete before the holiday shopping season, according to a news release.

“We are definitely thrilled about the store expansion and the enhanced selections that the additional floor space will bring to the market,” said Barbara Behmlander, general manager of the Bay City Mall, 4101 E. Wilder Road in Bangor Township.

Shoe Dept. Encore caters to an array of customers, offering a selection of shoes at different price points, the release states. It specializes in casual, work, athletic and dress shoes for men, women and children, and carries such brands as Rocky Boots, Eastland, Timberland, New Balance, Nike, Reebok, Hush Puppies and Life Stride.

The Shoe Dept. is to remain open in a temporary location near the mall's center court during the remodeling as contractors prepare for a new layout and additional floor space, the release states.

Other recent changes to the Bay City Mall include the addition of teen fashion retailer rue21, which opened Aug. 1, and Marshalls, which is expected to open next to The Shoe Dept. this fall.

“The (rue21) store looks great. I know they were pleased with their grand opening sales, their grand opening weekend,” Behmlander said.

And as for the new Marshalls store, exterior work is ongoing, she said.

Bay City Mall was purchased by Lormax Stern Development Co. in March. Other stores in the Bay City Mall include, Younkers, JCPenney, Sears, Dunham's, Aeropostale, Bath & Body Works, and Target. View the Bay City Mall directory here.

Gold Futures Rise to Highest Since May on Syrian Tension Tuesday, 27 Aug 2013 03:21 PM

jewellery Gold climbed to the highest since May as political tension over Syria increased demand for the precious metal as a store of value.

jewelry U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said Syria will be held accountable for using chemical weapons. Gold has rebounded 20 percent from a 34-month low of $1,179.40 an ounce in June as lower prices boosted demand for jewelry, coins and bars.

Silver jewelry “Syria is the new bullish barometer for gold,” Adam Klopfenstein, a senior market strategist at Archer Financial Services Inc. in Chicago, said in a telephone interview. “We are seeing renewed interest in gold.”

Silver jewelry Gold futures for December delivery climbed 1.9 percent to settle at $1,420.20 an ounce at 1:44 p.m. on the Comex in New York, the biggest jump since Aug. 15. Earlier, prices reached $1,424, the highest for a most-active contract since May 15.

jewelry “The fact that investment demand has picked up again somewhat of late, coupled with the escalating Syrian conflict, could see the upswing continue,” analysts at Commerzbank AG wrote today in a report.

jewelry Russia and Kazakhstan expanded their gold reserves for a 10th straight month in July, data on the International Monetary Fund’s website show.

Gold has slid 15 percent this year as some investors lost faith in the metal as a store of value and on speculation that the Federal Reserve will reduce stimulus that helped prices gain for a 12th year in 2012.

Silver futures for December delivery gained 2.7 percent to $24.70 an ounce on the Comex, after reaching $24.75, the highest since April 26.

Platinum futures for October delivery fell 0.8 percent to $1,532.10 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange, after touching $1,558, the highest since April 9. Palladium futures for September delivery rose 0.4 percent to $749.15 an ounce on the Nymex, the first rise in three sessions.

Tiffany's China Business Sparkles, But U.S. Sales Slow comments, called-out Comment Now Follow Comments Following Comments Unfollow Comments Comment Now Follow Comments Following Comments Unfollow Comments (Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images)

tiffany Tiffany & Co Tiffany & Co raised its full-year earnings forecast Tuesday after a solid second quarter that beat expectations.

cheap tiffany & co jewelry The jewelry and accessories retailer reported a 4% gain in global sales — 8% excluding currency impact — to $926 million. Same-store sales were up 5%, with growth across most regions.

cheap tiffany Tiffany’s home market was not not one of those growth regions though, as Americas comparable store sales were flat in Q2 and total sales rose just 2% to $444 million. Compare that with Asia Pacific, where comp store sales shot up 13% and total sales clocked in at $208 million, 20% above year-earlier levels. The company also saw an upbeat 11% gain in Europe (7% comparable store) to $111 million.

tiffany and co outlet Japan was a weak spot with a 14% drop in sales to $136 million, entirely due to the significant decline in the yen during the quarter. Currency aside sales were up 7% and comparable store sales 8%.

tiffany and co outlet Tiffany’s bottom-line was stronger despite the currency headwinds and the soft U.S. market, with earnings up 16% to $107 million. On a per share basis earnings of 83 cents were up more than 15% and comfortably ahead of the 74 cents expected.

cheap tiffany & co jewelry That prompted Tiffany to hike its full-year guidance to earnings between $3.50 and $3.60 per share (up from $3.43-$3.53), with sales expected to rise in the mid single digits in U.S. dollars.

Citi analyst Oliver Chen said the Tiffany results and guidance hike is impressive in the context of “industry-wide traffic fears.” Even with sales shifting toward higher-priced, lower margin items, the company still increased gross margin to 57.5% from 56.3% a year ago, Chen notes.

Shares of Tiffany rallied pre-market on the second-quarter results, but that gain faded to just 0.3% shortly after the opening bell. The stock is up more than 40% in 2013.

Redskins' RG3 jokes about NFL's $10K T-shirt fine JOSEPH WHITE (AP Sports Writer) August 23, 2013 AP - Sports

minzucloth OXON HILL, Md. (AP) -- At least Robert Griffin III can laugh about his latest run-in with the NFL's fashion police.

cheap clothing The Washington Redskins quarterback cracked a joke Friday about his $10,000 fine for wearing an ''Operation Patience'' T-shirt before a preseason game.

cheap clothing Griffin was accepting the team's offensive player of the year award at the Redskins' annual Welcome Home Luncheon. He was introduced shortly after an auction that raised money for charity.

t-shirt ''Those auctioneers did a good job,'' Griffin told the crowd. ''I would've given them 10 grand, but the NFL took it away from me this week.''

clothing stores Griffin adopted ''Operation Patience'' as his slogan as he slowly increased his practice work during training camp after major knee surgery. He wore a white T-shirt with those words in capital burgundy letters as he warmed up before Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

clothing stores The NFL said the T-shirt was ''unauthorized apparel.''

It was the third time Griffin has run afoul of the NFL's dress code. He was warned for covering up the Nike swoosh on his official team warm-up shirt before the regular season opener last year, then he was fined $10,000 for wearing Adidas apparel at a news conference after the Redskins played the Cleveland Browns in December.

Griffin has a sponsorship deal with Adidas, but the league has an agreement with Nike.

Griffin dressed in a suit and tie to collect his award Friday - no clothing controversies this time. He did refer to another slogan he's been using recently: ''Coaches coach, players play,'' his philosophy for resolving his disagreements with coach Mike Shanahan over how much he should be allowed to practice.

''Coaches coach, players play, and all of us together, we can do great things,'' Griffin said. ''We can go win championships, and that's what we're planning on doing.''

MASON, Ohio (AP) - Roger Federer's rough summer finally got a warm moment at one of his favourite tournaments, providing a little encouragement with the US Open just ahead.

Federer overcome a tough start and emerged from his string of subpar showings since Wimbledon, beating Tommy Haas 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 on Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals at the Western & Southern Open.

The fifth-seeded Swiss star has been struggling to get his game back in shape since he was upset at Wimbledon by a player ranked 116th in the world. He has switched rackets and been limited by a sore back.

Finally, his game started to come together at a tournament he's won an unprecedented five times, including last year.

BeIN Sport Celebrates One-Year Anniversary, Looks to Grow Beyond Soccer Coverage Zac Wassink August 21, 2013

watches

best replica watches COMMENTARY | It was a little less two years ago when I was speaking with an insider at a Manhattan soccer pub. "A new station is coming," this individual told me, "and it's going to change the way we watch the sport in the United States."

high quality swiss replica watches

best replica watches That then-unnamed channel, we eventually learned, was beIN Sport, the current US TV home of La Liga, Serie A, the Russian Football Premier League, the Football League Championship and multiple other competitions.

best replica watches site The company celebrated its one-year anniversary in the States this past weekend, and what a year it has been. A station that began as an online-only channel fighting to get picked up by providers is now, at the start of the 2013-14 European calendar, available in over 80 million homes in the US. What some think is merely a soccer channel and not much more is now looking to grow beyond that distinction as its second year on US TV begins.

fake watches "We want to be the best international sports network as opposed to the best international soccer network," stated Antonio Briceño, deputy managing director for beIN Sport, during a conversation we had on Monday. "We launched with soccer because those were the key properties that we had when we first launched. It's now our intention to increase non-soccer properties on both networks without every alienating our core soccer fans who originally subscribed to our stations.

"For sure, you'll be seeing more cycling, more auto racing, more rugby (Six Nations Tournament) more boxing and other properties that we are getting. At the end of the day, we want to be perceived as the best network with all of international sport and not just soccer."

As with any new endeavor, beIN has gone through plenty of speed-bumps and hurdles along the way. This includes finding out how to best serve customers who pay extra to either subscribe directly to beIN Sport/beIN Sport Español or to sign up for a sports television package that includes one or both of those networks.

"The biggest thing we've learned (this past year) is that there is no way to make everybody happy," Briceño explained. "Obviously, one of the things we've learned is that the audiences, if you're talking about the core soccer audiences, they have a lot in common. They're also different in the way that they consume their sports."

Any channel attempting to achieve beIN's goals is always going to have an uphill climb in the United States. Soccer is indeed more popular in this country now than ever before, but the sport still has a long way to go before it can even be mentioned among the likes of baseball and American football. Thus, beIN has to cater to casual viewers who will hopefully turn into repeat customers without "dumbing things down" to the point that diehard fans feel insulted. It's an issue those at beIN have been aware of since day one.

"We take a lot of time and effort to make sure our analysts and commentary crews are as unbiased as possible," Briceño said. "For example, we make sure that the female presenters who appear on our shows - yes, they look nice and they look beautiful - but they know what they are talking about. They are not just there because of how they look. We made sure that we signed people who already knew about the properties that we have."

One problem facing beIN this August is that the company having the rights to so many properties has resulted in some subscribers feeling left out when it comes to live games being shown on television. Most notably, fans of the Championship have, over the past several weeks, taken to Facebook and Twitter to voice their displeasure about that league being relegated to tape-delay coverage. Briceño assured me that those complaints haven't fallen on deaf ears.

"I'm an avid reader of all of the feedback we receive on both Facebook and Twitter. I am very aware of the feelings that are out there," he told me. "People forget that every live match is a big production. It's not just taking a feed from the satellite and putting it on TV. Sometimes, those games conflict with other non-soccer properties, and we have to factor in production abilities for every weekend. It's a good problem to have because we have so many good properties, but we also have a big challenge in not going beyond our production capabilities. We are planning on increasing our coverage of the Championship on beIN Sport as much as we possibly can."

I was told that every Championship match that is part of the beIN package will be shown live via the beIN Sport Play streaming service . That service, however, is not available to all subscribers as of the posting of this piece. "Our hope and goal is that it will soon be available to any subscriber regardless of their provider," Briceño stated. "This will allow viewers to make their own programming choices (via what's available on both TV and the streaming service)."

"We understand the frustrations felt by some of the fans of the leagues we carry. We sit every week, week in and week out, and we look at all of the factors (before planning programming). I try my best to make sure that everything that airs is dictated by contractual obligations to different properties and also the desires of our subscribers."

A lack of availability in Canada has left many football fans located up north rather displeased with beIN. Briceño didn't dance around the topic when asked. "We are very keen to launch in Canada," he told me. "My top priority personally right now is to launch in Canada. We do have the application prepared and ready to go. The regulatory environment in Canada is very particular, and we need to have a sponsor to get coverage there. That's what we are working on. Yes, it's true that if you go to the (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) website, you're not going to find an application pending approval at this very moment. Before we can even apply, we first need to find a sponsor. That has proven to be more challenging than we originally expected. We are working very hard every day, and want to launch in Canada as soon as possible."

There had been some whispers throughout 2013 that beIN Sport could be interested in acquiring the TV rights of Major League Soccer, which currently airs on NBC Sports Network, as some point in the future. The thought was that beIN, financed by the Qatari Investment Fund, has the money to over-bid, if necessary, for MLS. There are also plenty of open time slots on both beIN Sport and beIN Sport en Español due to European matches wrapping up in the afternoon. It now seems, however, that such speculation may have just been that and not much more.

"In all honesty, I can tell you that I haven't looked into that," Briceño told me "You do have to remember that there is an acquisition team that deals with that sort of thing, and I don't know if they are looking into it. I haven't been informed if they are. The fact is that we want to be the best international sports channel, and MLS is a domestic league. Acquiring the league would be outside of how we are positioning ourselves."

Police: $53 million in jewels stolen in Cannes Police: $53 million in jewels stolen in Cannes d0331fc1aa1d484b8c95dd763ec0181b.jpg Photo by:  The Associated Press A view of the Carlton hotel, in Cannes, southern France, the scene of a daylight raid, Sunday, July 28, 2013. cartier PARIS — A staggering 40 million euro ($53 million) worth of diamonds and other jewels was stolen Sunday from the Carlton Intercontinental Hotel in Cannes, in one of Europe's biggest jewelry heists in recent years, police said. One expert noted the crime follows recent jail escapes by members of the notorious "Pink Panther" jewel thief gang.

fake cartier watches for sale The hotel in the sweltering French Riviera was hosting a temporary jewelry exhibit over the summer from the prestigious Leviev diamond house, which is owned by Israeli billionaire Lev Leviev.

cartier watch replica sale A police spokesman said the theft took place around noon, but he could not confirm local media reports that the robber was a single gunman who stuffed a suitcase with the gems before making a swift exit. The spokesman spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter on the record.

cartier fake watches The luxury Carlton hotel featured prominently in Alfred Hitchcok's "To Catch a Thief," which starred Cary Grant as a reformed burglar chasing a jewel thief. It is situated on the exclusive Promenade de la Croisette that stretches a mile and a half (2.4 kilometers) along the French Riviera, and is thronged by the rich and famous throughout the year. The hotel's position provides not only a beautiful view of the sea but also an easy getaway for potential jewel thieves along the long stretch of road.

cartier watches for men replica "It's a huge theft. Anytime you talk about a heist with many millions of dollars it turns heads and feeds the imagination," said Jonathan Sazonoff, U.S. editor for the Museum Security Network website and an authority on high-value crime.

replica watches He said the likelihood of recovering the stolen diamonds and jewels is slim, because the thieves can easily sell them. "The fear is, if you're dealing with high-quality minerals, it's hard to get them back," Sazonoff said. "They can be broken up and so they can be easily smuggled and sold."

The valuable gems were supposed to be on public display until the end of August. It was not immediately clear how many pieces were stolen.

Leviev, in a brief statement, said: "Company officials are cooperating with local authorities investigating the loss and are relieved that no one was injured in the robbery."

Several police officers were placed in front of the Carlton exhibition room — near a Cartier diamond boutique — to prevent the dozens of journalists and photographers from getting a look at the scene of the crime.

Hotel officials would not comment, and attempts to get comments from Leviev or his company were not immediately successful.

Europe has been struck by several brazen jewelry thefts in recent years, some of which have involved tens of millions of dollars in treasure.

On Feb. 18 in Belgium, some $50 million worth of diamonds were stolen. In that heist, robbers targeted stones from the global diamond center of Antwerp that had been loaded on a plane headed to Zurich. Authorities have since detained dozens of people and recovered much of the items stolen in that operation.

Five years ago, in December 2008, armed robbers wearing women's wigs and clothing made off with diamond rings, gem-studded bracelets and other jewelry said then to be worth $108 million from a Harry Winston boutique in Paris.

Also in 2008 — in February of that year — in a scene reminiscent of the movie "The Italian Job," masked thieves drilled a tunnel into a Damiani jewelry company showroom in Milan, Italy. They tied up the staff with plastic cable and sticky tape, then made off with gold, diamonds and rubies worth some $20 million. The robbers had been digging for several weeks from a building under construction next door.

Cannes appears to be a favorite target this year — in May it was struck by other two highly publicized jewelry heists during the Cannes Film Festival.

In the first theft, robbers stole about $1 million worth of jewels after ripping a safe from the wall of a hotel room. In the second, thieves outsmarted 80 security guards in an exclusive hotel and grabbed a De Grisogono necklace that creators said is worth 2 million euros ($2.6 million).

Sazonoff said it is normal for robbers to gravitate to a place like Cannes, whose glimmering harbor and glamorous film festival attract the world's rich and famous. "Why do thieves target Cannes? It's simple ... On the Cote d'Azur, it's where the monied people flow," he said.

Sazonoff also said police would likely probe whether Sunday's heist is linked to recent jail escapes by alleged members of the Pink Panther jewel thief gang.

On Thursday, gang member Milan Poparic escaped his Swiss prison after accomplices rammed a gate and overpowered guards with bursts from their AK-47s, police said.

Police say the Pink Panther network's members are prime suspects in a series of daring thefts. According to Interpol, the group has targeted luxury watch and jewelry stores in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States, netting more than €330 million (£285m) since 1999.

Poparic is the third member of the Pink Panthers to escape from a Swiss prison in as many months, according to Vaud police.

"The brazen drama of it is their style... The possibility of the reemergence of the Pink Panther gang is very troubling and taken seriously by law enforcement worldwide," Sazonoff said. "The theft of high value diamonds is exactly what they do, so it's not a great leap to assume they are on the warpath again. They are a crime wave waiting to happen."

Pre-season watch list for Michigan High School Football Player of the Year By Ross Maghielse | rmaghiel@
on August 27, 2013 9 a.m. View/Post Comments Grand Rapids Christian junior Drake Harris catches a pass against Orchard Lake St. Mary's sophomore Tyson Smith Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at Ford Field in Detroit Mich., during the 2012 MHSAA championship. - (Sally Finneran | MLive.com)

watches With the announcement of the Michigan High School Football Player of the Year honor MLive Media Group is also unveiling our pre-season Watch List for the upcoming season. We’re setting out not to find the highest-ranked recruit or the kid with the best “measureables” and potential, but simply the best football player in the state. Offense, defense, quarterback or lineman, this distinction is meant to honor a player who just flat out gets it done on the field.

buy watches Below is our initial top 25 Watch List, which will be updated each week throughout the regular season as other players emerge or the current candidates take charge and put their Player of the Year campaign into full gear.

sport watch (Players listed in alphabetical order)

buy watches Byron Bullough (Sr.) Traverse City St. Francis, LB/RB -- Byron is the latest in a long-line of Bulloughs and like the rest of his family, he’s headed to play football at Michigan State. Known for his toughness, tackling ability and football instincts, Bullough is a three-year varsity player and will play both sides of the ball at St. Francis this season.

watches for sale Asantay Brown (Sr.) Mona Shores, WR/S -- Brown was an All-State receiver as a junior for the Sailors and a big play threat. Last season he snagged 45 receptions for 839 yards and 11 touchdowns and set school records for both number of receptions in a game and the longest TD reception, with a 98-yarder against Muskegon. Brown -- committed to Western Michigan -- averaged 15 yards every time he touched the ball on special teams and was also a standout punter.

watches for sale Jayru Campbell (Jr.) Detroit Cass Tech, QB/DB -- Jayru Campbell wasted little time becoming a well-known name on the football recruiting landscape and already has two Division 1 state championships and a loaded stat sheet on his resume. He has a legitimate chance, along with his Cass Tech teammates, to win four straight state titles. Campbell recently committed to Michigan State.

Brian Cole (Jr.) Saginaw Heritage, RB/WR/DB -- Cole is ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the state by both Scout.com and recruiting website 24/7, which also ranks him No. 65 nationally overall and No. 8 nationally at the cornerback position. The Heritage stalwart has the recruiting offers to back those projections up. Cole has been offered by Ohio State, Tennessee, Michigan and Michigan State.

Amari Coleman (Sr.) New Lothrop, WR/DB -- Coleman is one the youngest Division I college commitments in the Class of 2014 the future Central Michigan Chippewa has been the definition of a playmaker during his time at New Lothrop. He scored 19 touchdowns last season despite getting just 38 offensive touchdowns. He won’t turn 17 until Oct. 4.

Askaree Crawford (Jr.) Ann Arbor Skyline, QB -- Crawford had a breakout year as a sophomore starting QB and likely will take on more responsibility with the Skyline offense this season. He’s developing into a dual threat QB and last year threw for 1,513 yards with 12 touchdowns while rushing for 285 yards and six scores.

Drew Dowding (Sr.) Michigan Center, LB -- At 6-foot-2, 205 lbs. Dowding doesn’t have overwhelming size for a linebacker, but he’s as aggressive as the come and covers the whole field. He racked up 108 tackles with two interceptions, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in 2012.

Ian Eriksen (Sr.) Clarkston, RB -- Eriksen moved into the starting running back role for Clarkston last season and had a breakout junior campaign. He rushed 2,167 yards and 34 touchdowns en route to earing a place on the AP First-Team Division 1-2 All-State team. Eriksen is ranked by Scout.com as the top Michigan running back in the Class of 2014. He is committed to Eastern Michigan.

Trent Grimes (Sr.) Flint Powers Catholic, RB -- Grimes impressed coaches at the University of Michigan high school camp last summer and shortly after received an offer from Central Michigan, where he has verbally committed to play after finishing his senior season this year. He transferred to Powers Catholic this season after a breakout junior campaign at Fenton. Grimes will likely be the primary offensive weapon for the Chargers.

Devon Harris (Sr.) Menominee, DB/QB/RB -- Harris was one of only three juniors selected to the 2012 All-UP Dream Team last season and he enters his senior year highly regarded and potentially as the best player in the U.P. Although college offers haven’t started pouring in yet, Harris is a playmaker at multiple positions. His best position is probably defensive back, but overall he’s just a football player.

Drake Harris (Sr.) Grand Rapids Christian, WR/DB -- There’s not a player in the state who has received more ink regarding his recruiting process than Harris. The Eagles star flirted with Michigan State and Ohio State, among others, before switching his commitment to Michigan. He dominated last season’s Division 3 state championship game against Orchard Lake St. Mary’s with eight receptions for 243 yards and a touchdown.

Alex Lewandoski (Sr.) Muskegon Catholic Central, RB/S -- Lewandoski is a returning All-State selection and the leader for the Crusaders on both sides of the ball. He led the team in tackles last season and also rushed for over 1,000 yards.

Lawrence Marshall (Sr.) Southfield, DE -- Marshall is a superb athlete and will play on one of the best defenses in the state this year at Southfield. He’s also been a strong leader for the Bluejays and tallied 119 tackles and seven sacks last season. He is committed to Michigan.

Nick Mattich (Sr.) Clarkston, OL/DL -- Mattich projects to be one of the state’s best defensive tackles this season and is also a force on the offensive line. He helped clear the way for a strong Clarkston rushing attack in 2012 while also collecting 28 tackles and four sacks. Expect more of the same from him in 2013. He’s committed to Western Michigan.

Malik McDowell (Sr.) Southfield, DE -- Virtually every college coach in the country wants McDowell. The 6-7, 300-pound defense end is one of the top defensive players in the state and his new team, Southfield, might feature the best overall defense in Michigan as well. Colleges interested in McDowell include Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Alex Neering (Sr.) Essexville Garber, DE/OT -- Neering is a big, physical body in the trenches for Essexville Garber and could be one of the best offensive linemen in the state. At 6-foot-7, 250 pounds, he’s a force to be reckoned with. Neering is committed to CMU.

Jake Pearson (Sr.) Rapid River, QB -- Pearson plays 8-man football way up at Rapid River, which is near Hiawatha National Forest and Escanaba in the U.P. It’s a different game up there, but our friend Keith Shelton of the Escanaba Daily Times insures that Pearson is the real deal. “Video game like numbers” is how Pearson’s quarterbacking ability was described.

Joe Reverman (Sr.) Grand Ledge, RB -- Reverman is the top player in the Greater Lansing area and has been contributing to the varsity squad at Grand Ledge since his sophomore year. As a junior, he rushed for 1,568 yards and 22 touchdowns and was a First-Team AP All-State selection.

Brett Showers (Sr.) Rockford, LB -- Showers is undersized (5-9, 240) for a Division 1 linebacker and projects as more of a baseball talent at the college level, but he’s a tackling machine for the Rams. Showers led Rockford with 115 tackles, also collecting two sacks, en route to earning a First-Team AP All-State selection. He’ll be the leader of the Rams defense again this year.

Travis Smith (Sr.) Ithaca, QB/DB -- Smith is undefeated at Ithaca and part of three straight state titles for the Yellowjackets. After playing receiver as a freshman, he took over at quarterback and instantly became one of the best field generals in Michigan. In two years as a starting QB, Smith has thrown for 4,766 yards and 62 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions. He has also run for 1,869 yards and 39 touchdowns. Smith is committed to Toledo.

Matt Sokol (Sr.) Rochester Adams, QB/TE -- At what often becomes an overlooked position, Sokol has quietly established himself as one of the best tight end prospects in Michigan. He’s ranked as the No. 1 tight end recruit for the Class of 2014 by Scout.com and has verbally committed to play at Michigan State. At 6-5, 220 lbs. Sokol will have a dominant presence on the field this season.

Chance Stewart (Sr.) Sturgis, QB -- Stewart is a three-year varsity player at Sturgis and so far has tallied 4,106 passing yards and 36 touchdowns with 17 interceptions. He’s a pro-style QB and a four-star recruit headed to nearby Western Michigan University. Stewart was originally committed to Wisconsin before former Badgers coach Bret Bielema left for Arkansas.

Damon Webb (Sr.) Detroit Cass Tech, DB/WR -- Webb is another standout athlete on a Cass Tech team loaded with playmakers. He’ll likely be a defensive back in college, where he’s committed to play at Ohio State, but he’s a weapon as a receiver, too. Scout.com ranks Webb as the No. 6 cornerback recruit in the country.

Tyler Wiegers (Sr.) Birmingham Detroit Country Day, QB -- Wiegers is a pure pro-style QB with great accuracy and arm strength. He reads defenses well and is physically ready for the next level of football when he heads off to Rutgers and the Big Ten Conference after this season. Last season was his first as the full-time starter but the Yellowjackets are counting on him to have a breakout year as a senior.

Jared Wangler (Sr.) Warren De La Salle, LB -- Wangler, one of the state’s best linebackers, was originally committed to Linebacker U at Penn State but recently switched his commitment to Michigan, where his father starred John starred at quarterback and led the Wolverines to a Rose Bowl victory in 1980. He’s got football in his blood and is a heavy hitter who will make big plays on defense for the Pilots.

There is a rap against Mr. Mizrahi in the fashion industry: that, distracted by his interests in set design, acting and hosting talk and reality shows, he’s been too unfocused to develop a signature style that might once have propelled him into the pantheon of great American designers. “People in the industry look askance at those who don’t live and breathe fashion,” said Robin Givhan , who won a Pulitzer for her fashion criticism for The Washington Post. “It’s like, you must suffer for your art, or you’re not legit.”

And, suffice it to say, Mr. Mizrahi has had an uneasy relationship with commerce.

Since leaving his apprenticeship at Calvin Klein and selling his first collection to Bergdorf Goodman in 1986, he has seen any number of booms and busts in his business. In June 1988, Anne-Marie Schiro wrote in The Times: “Remember the name Isaac Mizrahi. He is this year’s hottest new designer,” calling his first show “so professionally executed, so tasteful and imaginative that it catapulted him into the big time.”

Even after the 1995 documentary “Unzipped” (in which the film’s director, Douglas Keeve, his boyfriend at the time, captured his sweetness along with the hissy fits and nail-biting angst surrounding the creation of his 1994 fall collection), when he became a bona fide star to a wider audience, his couture line reportedly had millions in sales, but it still couldn’t turn a profit.

Instead, he found great success in mass-market lines — at Target, at QVC and, with the sale of his identity, at Xcel Brands , which paid a reported $31.5 million in 2011. (The terms of Mr. Mizrahi’s agreement with Xcel prohibit him from talking about details, but try stopping Mr. Mizrahi from talking about anything.)

Friends say that he struggles personally with not being the intellectual force in fashion he once saw himself to be. He was reportedly very hurt when New York magazine’s Approval Matrix page described him as having “twice the bitchiness of Michael Kors with half the wit (and professional success).”

Linda Wells, the editor in chief of Allure, calls his design “colorful and frothy, and all that.”

“What he is not is edgy, and he doesn’t want to be,” Ms. Wells continued. “It’s not his personal approach to life, and not his approach to design.”

Mr. Mizrahi says he is delighted with the Xcel association, and no doubt is, at least on a financial level. Yet at lunch, at Cookshop in Chelsea, when the Xcel public-relations person joined us, I couldn’t escape the sense that she was monitoring her most beloved naughty toddler.

“The people I work with, they’re really smart now,” Mr. Mizrahi said. “It’s a different kind of collaboration, you know? I think I have style and confidence, but they know the market. So if I go into a meeting about shoes or handbags and I go: ‘What? No, excuse me?,’ they go: ‘Oh, really? Well, thank you very much, and here’s a clean copy for your records.’ ” Mr. Mizrahi beamed. The P.R. woman winced a little.

With Xcel in charge of licensing everything from a new girl’s line to watches, he is free to do, well, everything else. He’s writing a television pilot (still very hush-hush) and doing something he’s loved since he first belted out “Don’t Rain on My Parade” as an 8-year-old: cabaret. He’s been performing intermittently for years.

The night I saw him, at the Westside Theater , he delivered raspy renditions of classics (“C’est Si Bon”) and not-so-classics (“Ode to Xanax”) and took audience questions. (“When’s the last time you were in a gay bar?” Mr. Mizrahi: “Uh, Stonewall?”). His singing voice is closer to Harvey Fierstein than Michael Feinstein, but it hardly matters. He knows how to put on a show.

“The thing that’s so great about cabaret is that you really don’t know what to expect,” he told me later. “Like, in theater, even the things that seem improvisational are planned. But very little is planned in cabaret. Which means that sometimes you stink. But even when you do, it’s always fun.”

For someone who wears his neurosis and even prickliness proudly, “fun” still seems a word to live by. Mr. Mizrahi grew up the youngest boy in a Conservative Jewish family in Midwood, Brooklyn. There were tipoffs as to what he’d be doing with his life: the designs he sketched in his prayer books in Yeshiva, the outfits he made for puppet shows in his garage.

His father gave him a sewing machine when he was 10. He still talks dreamily of what he wore to his bar mitzvah: “It was powder blue shantung, and I had these white patent-leather Pierre Cardin shoes. It had to have it made specially for me — my father had a suit factory, and I was a very fat kid. So I had to go and stand for fittings.”

Tiffany Reports Its Second Quarter Results Press Release : Tiffany & Co.  –  Tue, Aug 27, 2013 6:59 AM EDT Related Content RELATED QUOTES Symbol Price Change TIF 77.25 -3.5700

tiffany NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

tiffany Tiffany & Co. ( TIF ) today reported an increase in net earnings in its second quarter ended July 31, 2013 reflecting sales growth and an improved operating margin. As a result of better-than-expected earnings in the quarter, management increased its full year forecast.

tiffany jewelry In the three months (“second quarter”) ended July 31, 2013:

Worldwide net sales rose 4% to $926 million. On a constant-exchange-rate basis that excludes the effect of translating foreign-currency-denominated sales into U.S. dollars (see “Non-GAAP Measures” schedule), worldwide net sales rose 8%, and comparable store sales rose 5% due to growth in most regions. Net earnings increased 16% to $107 million, or $0.83 per diluted share, compared with $92 million and $0.72 per diluted share in the prior year.

cheap tiffany & co jewelry In the six months (“first half”) ended July 31, 2013:

Worldwide net sales increased 7% to $1.8 billion. On a constant-exchange-rate basis, sales rose 10% with comparable store sales increasing 7%. Net earnings rose 10% to $190 million, or $1.48 per diluted share, from $173 million, or $1.36 per diluted share, in the prior year. Expenses of $9 million, or $0.05 per diluted share, had been recorded in this year’s first quarter for staff and occupancy reductions; excluding those costs, net earnings in the first half rose 13% to $196 million, or $1.53 per diluted share (see “Non-GAAP Measures” schedule).

tiffany outlet locations Michael J. Kowalski, chairman and chief executive officer, said, “Total sales growth met our objective due to solid performance in most regions, and with particular strength in our statement and fine jewelry product categories. We were pleased with the results of our efforts to improve gross margin which, combined with well-controlled expenses, yielded a solid increase in operating margin.”

cheap tiffany & co Net sales highlights were as follows:

In the Americas region, total sales increased 2% to $444 million in the second quarter and 4% to $852 million in the first half. On a constant-exchange-rate basis, total sales also rose 2% and 4% in the respective periods; comparable store sales were unchanged in the quarter and rose 1% in the half, led by growth in Tiffany’s New York flagship store sales. Total sales in the Asia-Pacific region rose 20% to $208 million in the second quarter and 17% to $432 million in the first half. On a constant-exchange-rate basis, total sales also rose 20% and 17%, and comparable store sales increased 13% and 11% in the respective periods, led by especially strong sales growth in Greater China. Business in Japan continued to be strong in the second quarter. The negative translation effect from a substantially weaker yen caused total sales to decline 14% to $136 million in the second quarter and 7% to $281 million in the first half. However, on a constant-exchange-rate basis, total sales increased 7% in the second quarter and 14% in the first half, due to comparable store sales growth of 8% and 14% with strong growth in engagement and higher-end jewelry categories. Total sales in Europe rose 11% to $111 million in the second quarter and 9% to $204 million in the first half. On a constant-exchange-rate basis, total sales rose 10% and 9% in the respective periods and comparable store sales rose 7% and 6% due to sales growth in the United Kingdom and most of continental Europe. Other sales increased 33% to $26 million in the second quarter and 87% to $53 million in the first half, primarily reflecting the conversion in July 2012 of five TIFFANY & CO. stores in the United Arab Emirates from independently-operated to Company-operated. Tiffany opened three stores in the second quarter: in Hong Kong, in Verona, Italy and in Villahermosa, Mexico, and closed one in Tokyo, Japan. At July 31, 2013, the Company operated 277 stores (116 in the Americas, 67 in Asia-Pacific, 54 in Japan, 35 in Europe and five in the U.A.E.), versus 260 stores (106 in the Americas, 61 in Asia-Pacific, 55 in Japan and 33 in Europe and five in the U.A.E.) a year ago.

Other financial highlights:

Gross margin (gross profit as a percentage of net sales) increased to 57.5% in the second quarter from 56.3% a year ago, and gross margin was unchanged at 56.8% in the first half. During the second quarter and first half, gross margin increasingly benefitted from diminishing product cost pressure and price increases taken earlier in the year. A shift in sales mix toward higher-priced, lower gross margin products continued to impact gross margin. SG&A (selling, general and administrative) expenses increased 3% in the second quarter and 6% in the first half. The growth in both periods was due to store-related costs and higher marketing spending, but was partly mitigated by the translation effect from a stronger U.S. dollar. In addition, $9 million of expenses had been recorded in the first quarter tied to specific cost reduction initiatives related to staffing reductions, as well as subleasing of office space (see “Non-GAAP Measures” schedule). Other expenses, net of $15 million in the second quarter were up from $14 million last year, and were $27 million in the first half versus $25 million last year. Effective income tax rates were 34.2% in the second quarter and 34.5% in the first half, compared with 34.6% and 34.5% in last year’s respective periods. Cash and cash equivalents were $490 million at July 31, 2013, versus $366 million a year ago. Total short-term and long-term debt of $964 million at July 31, 2013 represented 35% of stockholders’ equity, compared with $940 million and 39% a year ago. Net inventories of $2.3 billion at July 31, 2013, were 4% higher than a year ago. Finished goods inventories rose to support new stores and expanded product assortments, while combined raw material and work-in-process inventories declined slightly from last year. Net inventories rose 7% on a constant-exchange-rate basis.

Mr. Kowalski added, “We are pleased to have achieved healthy earnings growth in the first half of the year. Looking forward, we are equally excited about the initiatives we are pursuing in product development, marketing communications and store expansion, all intended to further enhance Tiffany’s strong brand position and take fuller advantage of its long-term growth opportunities in the global luxury market.”

Outlook for 2013:

For the fiscal year ending January 31, 2014, management now forecasts net earnings in a range of $3.50-$3.60 per diluted share, compared with $3.43-$3.53 per diluted share in its previous outlook and $3.25 per diluted share in 2012. This forecast is based on the following assumptions, which are approximate and may or may not prove valid:

a) Worldwide net sales increasing by a mid-single-digit percentage in U.S dollars (a high-single-digit percentage increase on a constant-exchange-rate basis).

b) Adding a net of 14 Company-operated stores (opening six in the Americas, seven in Asia-Pacific and three in Europe, and closing one each in Asia-Pacific and Japan).

c) Operating earnings increasing at a higher rate than sales growth. This assumes gross margin at least equal to the prior year (the benefits from favorable product costs and price increases being offset by sales mix skewed toward higher-priced, lower margin product categories), and an improvement in the SG&A expense ratio due to sales leverage on fixed costs.

d) Interest and other expenses, net of $58 million.

e) An effective income tax rate of 35%.

f) This forecast excludes $0.05 per diluted share of expenses tied to specific cost-reduction initiatives that were recorded in the first quarter.

g) Net inventories increasing 5%; capital expenditures of $230 million (versus $220 million in 2012); and free cash flow (cash flow from operating activities less capital expenditures) of $300 million (versus $109 million in 2012).

(Unaudited)

NON-GAAP MEASURES

The Company reports information in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”). The Company’s management does not, nor does it suggest that investors should, consider non-GAAP financial measures in isolation from, or as a substitute for, financial information prepared in accordance with GAAP. The Company presents such non-GAAP financial measures in reporting its financial results to provide investors with an additional tool to evaluate the Company’s operating results.

Net Sales

The Company’s reported sales reflect either a translation-related benefit from strengthening foreign currencies or a detriment from a strengthening U.S. dollar. Internally, management monitors its sales performance on a non-GAAP basis that eliminates the positive or negative effects that result from translating sales made outside the U.S. into U.S. dollars (“constant-exchange-rate basis”). Management believes this constant-exchange-rate basis provides a more representative assessment of sales performance and provides better comparability between reporting periods. The following table reconciles sales percentage increases (decreases) from the GAAP to the non-GAAP basis versus the previous year:

Net Earnings

The accompanying press release presents net earnings and highlights expenses tied to specific cost reduction initiatives in the text. Management believes excluding such specific items presents the Company’s quarter-to-date results on a more comparable basis to the corresponding period in the prior year, thereby providing investors with an additional perspective to analyze the results of operations of the Company at July 31, 2013. The following table reconciles GAAP net earnings and net earnings per diluted share (“EPS”) to non-GAAP net earnings and net earnings per diluted share, as adjusted:

Italy's Tamburi seeks investments to follow Moncler Reuters  –  Wed, Aug 14, 2013 4:32 PM EDT RELATED QUOTES Symbol Price Change TIP.MI 1.82 0.00 AMP.MI 3.94 -0.01 PRY.MI 16.91 -0.48

moncler MILAN (Reuters) - Italy's Tamburi Investment Partners (TIP) (MIL:TIP) is looking for further purchases after leading a consortium to buy into luxury ski wear maker Moncler, chief executive Giovanni Tamburi said on Wednesday.

cheap moncler vest TIP, which Tamburi said has investments worth about 1 billion euros ($1.3 billion), acquired an indirect stake in Moncler this month when its majority-owned vehicle Clubsette bought 14 percent of Moncler President Remo Ruffini's holding company.

moncler outlet fashion The independent investment bank, which also holds stakes in hearing aid maker Amplifon (MIL:AMP) and cable maker Prysmian (MIL:PRY), is mulling deals in the technology, fashion and retail sectors in Europe, at a pace of between one and three a year.

moncler outlet fashion "We have absolutely not finished," Tamburi told Reuters. "We still have liquidity, we still have investors who want to join us, so we're still looking at potential deals - and there are lots of opportunities in Europe."

moncler outlet fashion TIP booked a capital gain worth about 33 million euros in July from the sale of its stake in holding companies for French department store chain Printemps, but the cash will not make it any less choosy about its investments, Tamburi said.

moncler outlet online "We won't let having lots of money make us rush to invest."

World Cup countdown clock stuck on 365 days August 1, 2013 AP - Sports

watches RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) -- The official World Cup countdown clock in Rio de Janeiro has stopped time.

luxury handbags The infamous beef between Atlanta rappers Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy has been pretty quiet for some time now, but it looks like Gucci is trying to re-ignite it, as well as his old beef with T.I. and he’s also throwing Memphis rapper Yo Gotti in the mix too. You know, just for good measure.

replica gucci On Tuesday morning, which, overall, was a pretty big day for Hip Hop, Gucci (aka “Guwop”) took to Twitter and listed the aforementioned rappers as his “Top 3 Pussy Ass Rappers,” possibly taking advantage of the increased activity on the social site due to Kendrick Lamar’s verse declaring war on his rap cohorts going viral.

gucci bags Gucci started off his random tirade by comparing rappers to scorned women:

gucci bags Rappers are so weak Remind me of scorned women #Guwop

— Gucci Mane (@gucci1017) August 13, 2013

A little later, he tweeted this:

Make so called street niggas Who Rap feel Inse #ltw pic.twitter.com/fr0pXRYxqO

— Gucci Mane (@gucci1017) August 13, 2013

If I had a nickel 4 every Lie these rappers tell I would be a multi Billionaire Instead of millionaire …Big money talk.. #Ww3 1017pm

— Gucci Mane (@gucci1017) August 13, 2013

And then came this:

Name your Top 3 Pussy ass rappers? Mines? Jeezy Yo gotti & Tip. No brainer. But there are 100s more….Go… #ww3

— Gucci Mane (@gucci1017) August 13, 2013

SHOTS. FIRED.

About an hour later, Gucci rehashed his beef with his former protege Waka Flocka Flame too, offering to sell his 1017 BrickSquad contract for $1 million. If you’ll recall, the two had a falling out back in March after Gucci tweeted that he was a “disloyal lil nigga.”

He also threatened to drop Waka from the label, but that won’t be so easy since Waka has three more albums to record with Brick Squad, in addition to shared royalties on touring and publishing. So apparently, he’s trying to “sell” Waka’s label rights/royalties to whoever wants to pay $1 million.

I will sell all rights to Waka Flocka Flame fo #ltw pic.twitter.com/GmMw5TWwmV

— Gucci Mane (@gucci1017) August 13, 2013

Waka Flocka hasn’t responded to Gucci’s tweets yet, and he probably won’t because he’s said all he’s had to say about his issues with his former rap mentor. In fact, just last month, when UK radio personality Tim Westwood asked Waka what was up between him and Gucci, he replied: “Who dat is? Who dat? Who is that?”

T.I. is so above Gucci Mane and his nonsense that there’s hardly any chance that he’ll respond, and as far as Young Jeezy is concerned, he’s already responded to Gucci’s shenanigans once:

“I mean, I feel like everybody know that boy retarded, nobody takes him seriously,” he said. “He got an ice cream cone on his face. That being said, I’m not going back. I’m going forward. And then it’s crazy because they’ll call you and want you on songs. And then when you don’t get on a song, that’s what happens.”

In other Gucci Mane news, the rapper just released a three-mixtape series called ‘ World War 3: Molly, Lean and Gas,’ and he also dropped a new video featuring Chief Keef (his new protege?) called “Darker,” from his ‘Trap House 3′ mixtape.

TomTom GPS Watches Voted Easiest to Use by HRWC TomTom GPS watches have been voted the easiest to use GPS watch for 2013 by the testers at the Heart Rate Watch Company. The single button serving as a simple menu navigation device was cited for the selection. TomTom GPS Watches Offer Lightweight at 1.9 Ounces and Thin Profile

Manufacturers need to become smarter and start making their technology easier and easier to use. Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) August 27, 2013

watches TomTom GPS watches have been voted the easiest to use GPS Sports watches for 2013 by the Heart Rate Watch Company.

replica patek philippe calatrava "The single button joystick-type navigation is fast and intuitive," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "We think more companies should adopt this level of simplicity in menu navigation to attract more users."

best replica patek philippe watches "This is not to say we feel they are the best GPS watches, simply to say that we feel their navigation menu is the best," says Squire. He adds, "They also acquire satellites faster than any other GPS watch, often taking five to 10 seconds, and high screen resolution."

replica patek philippe aquanaut A Great Option for Women

patek philippe replica watches "The TomTom Multisport GPS watch weighed just 1.9 ounces and was by far thinner than any other units we have tested," says Squire. He adds, "We think this will hold appeal for some women that have largely ignored GPS watches as an option due to size and weight."

patek philippe replica watches Shrinking technology that measures pace, heart rate and distance data should be a real priority for all manufacturers according to Squire. "Women are over unisex shape and watches that fit like they were made for a guy," says Squire.

Running Watch, Too

TomTom Runner GPS watch offers the same navigation, fast satellite acquisition, thin profile and lightweight. "We really like what TomTom GPS watches look like right out of the gate," says Squire. He adds, "Further evolution of their training software should further expand the features."

The Need For Simplification

"Manufacturers need to become smarter and start making their technology easier and easier to use," says Squire. He adds, "This message often seems lost on many of the manufacturers in the fitness industry, yet it is what customers are asking for every single day."

"We are happy that TomTom GPS watches have shown others what can be done with a little innovative thinking and hopefully this message will be heeded," says Squire.

All TomTom GPS watches are available at the Heart Rate Watch Company. "If you'd like some real expert advice from a company that only specializes in fitness electronics, then call us at 866-586-7129," says Squire.

Europe's economic woes could prompt crime surge By Katy Barnato | CNBC  –  Wed, Aug 14, 2013 9:37 AM EDT

watches Financial difficulties and social unrest may be the least of Europe's problems, according to crime experts, who warn that the continent's economic struggles mean it risks an escalation in human trafficking, counterfeit products and illegal migration.

swiss replica watches "European member states are underprepared for the scale of organized crime in the European Union [EU]... We are facing a threat that only now we are beginning to understand - let alone respond to," said Charlie Edwards, the director of national security and resilience at the Royal United Services Institute for Defense and Security Studies in London.

top brand watches Edwards said Europe was already suffering from an explosion in counterfeit goods, partly driven by the global recession. Worryingly, fake medicines constituted the majority of detained items in the EU, according to Edwards, followed by packaging materials and cigarettes.

cheap watches "The economic crisis means that, for many, money is tight. Nonetheless, there are certain products both companies and individuals still need," explained Matti Joutsen, the director of the European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control, which is based in Helsinki.

swiss Mechanical movement replica watches "If they cannot afford to pay over-the-counter prices for legitimate goods, then they may - depending on the supply - accept counterfeit goods."

The trade in fake goods is no longer focused on luxury items such as Dior handbags and Rolex watches, said Joutsen, but runs the entire gamut of products, "from medicines cosmetics and food, to electronic components and spare parts".

He added: "It's rather unsettling to know that the airplane you are flying in may have been serviced by a mechanic who was trying to save the airline money by buying something in the gray or black market."

Human trafficking

Michael Rauschenbach, head of serious and organized crime at Europol, the EU's law enforcement agency, said the same economic pressures that increase demand for low-cost products also generate a need for cheap - and sometimes illegal - labor.

"We see that in the trafficking of human beings - a continued threat - this may shift from classical sexual exploitation, to labor," he told CNBC.

( Read more: Saudi princess charged with US human trafficking )

In its 2013 report on organized crime, Europol said the growing demand for cheap products and services was stimulating a shadow economy in which migrant labor was exploited.

"Irregular migrants arriving in destination countries often have no choice but to accept exploitative conditions and working practices in order to pay off debts incurred through their journey," the report said. "Exploited workers are paid less and work harder, making them attractive to unscrupulous employers, who are seeking to decrease production costs."

In its report, Europol noted that a large population of "mobile young people" from Africa, the Middle East and East Asia, who lacked employment opportunities, helped sustain the supply of illegal labor to Europe. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime estimated that around 55,000 migrants are smuggled from North, East and West Africa alone to Europe each year, generating roughly $150 million in criminal income.

( View more: Illegal aliens could power US economy: Hermes CEO )

"The economic crisis has caused considerable difficulties in many developing countries, and there have been considerable layoffs," noted Joutsen.

"Although we cannot say for sure, it would be reasonable to assume that, since persons who are unemployed may, out of desperation and/or naiveté, believe the promises that are given to them by the human traffickers, this form of activity has been increasing," he said.

Rauschenbach added that macroeconomic difficulties, such as high unemployment and low profit margins, could increase social tolerance of criminal activity. This means that individuals and businesses are more likely to commit certain crimes, and also more likely to fall victim to them.

Fueling fraud

CIFAS, the U.K's fraud prevention service, has already noted an upsurge in fraud since the economic crisis began. In 2012, the number of frauds committed rose 5 percent to hit an annual total of 248,325, following an unprecedented surge in the previous year.

Across Europe, payment card fraud alone generates around 1.5 billion euros ($2.0 billion) in criminal income per year, according to Europol.

"The economy continued to play a prominent role in the fraud landscape: acting as a likely driver for many frauds, an influence on the types of fraud being committed and - also - a disguise for much fraud that has escaped detection," CIFAS said in a 2013 report.

Michael Levi, a professor of criminology at Cardiff University in Wales, noted that insurance fraud had increased in the U.K. since the downturn, and said an upturn in bankruptcy fraud could also be expected.

"It is the expectation or fear that one may become unemployed that presents the extra risk here," said Levi, in an academic paper.

( Read more: Young, educated and never had a job )

Furthermore, tight public finances mean countries may lack the finances to tackle any upsurge in crime effectively. This is particularly problematic, given that an increase in crimes like tax evasion and goods smuggling can have a direct and significant impact on government revenues.

Edwards said European countries were failing to invest resources in tackling organized crime, with areas such as counter-terrorism comparatively better-funded.

( Read more: A European FBI 'would save the EU millions' )

"Their intelligence picture remains very patchy, and while some are now taking organized crime more seriously, there is still much to do," he said. "Fighting organized crime requires a joined-up approach across local agencies and national governments, meaningful legislation and real investment."

replica watches Yesterday, I told you about an incident we had with fence workers at our house. The workers came back today. And I decided to use them for training. I let Puddin watch and listen to all the noise and I treated her as she observed. I used treats to counter condition her to the sites and sounds of the workers. Note that I was careful to not “flood” Puddin. I didn’t force here to watch while she was afraid. If I had noticed that she was scared or concerned at any point, I would have either moved her farther away or simply aborted the procedure.
